MN.IT is in the process of deploying IPv6 across the backbone. This
process involves:
- Obtaining our IPv6 address block (complete)
- Determining the master allocation plan (complete)
- Determining the basic security configuration (complete, being tested)
- Determining the standard device and interface configuration
- Determining which devices need code upgrades (complete)
- Completing the code upgrades (backbone: complete, other: in-progress)
- Deploying IPv6 code configuration
- Turning up customer interfaces
